Description

Guide bed
The bed has a bridge and a ribbed construction, so that it is particularly rigid and ensures optimum chip evacuation into the chute.
The guide system consists of 2 prismatic and 2 flat guides on which the longitudinal slide or tailstock slides. The guides are hardened and ground to a hardness of at least 400 HB.
The chip basins are located in front of and behind the bed along the entire length. The coolant basin and the electric pump for the coolant are installed in the rear basin assembly.

Headstock
The gearbox receives the movement from the main motor by means of 5 V-belts, so that the transmission ratio for 50 and 60 Hz is ensured.
In order to realize a construction with minimal gears, but covering a wide speed range, the solution with sliding gears was chosen, whose kinematics allows two operations with different speeds.

Tailstock
The tailstock ensures a high degree of rigidity. The tailstock is adjusted manually. To facilitate adjustment on the guides, the tailstock is provided with roller bearings.
