Description

Retrofitted in the 90's and upgraded with NC/DRO.

The universal gear hobbing machine is equipped with:
- universal hob head, for straight and helical cylindrical gears
- internal hob head
- single indexing attachment
- shaving head
- counter support and with table bore for producing big pinions.

The advantages of the machine are automatic operation, multiple hobbing cycle, hydraulic table relief, automatic indexing device, high accuracy combined with short set-up times.Furthermore the machine has a maximum of static and dynamic stiffness, high thermal stiffness and stability, zero backlash of all guides and drives, high range speed for hobber and work piece. The hydrostatic balanced table is driven by a twin worm wheel.
